About us
The Grain d'Image association, based in Montpellier, aims to promote new talent in European photography. It does this through a festival, Les Boutographies, and a meeting place, the Mur Rouge.
Les Boutographies is a festival founded in 2001 in the Boutonnet district of Montpellier. The festival is dedicated to new European photography. All European photographers living in Europe are eligible to apply. A call for entries is launched every year from July to mid-November. A pre-selection by the association, followed by a selection by an independent jury, establishes the official selection.
The Mur Rouge is a photographic space that brings together two associations. Grain d'Image and Objectif Image. Exhibitions, meetings, screenings and workshops are regularly scheduled.
