If the night is a sanctuary, the Rockstore is its faithful tavern. Whether their eyes are drawn to an ethereal post-punk live show, or their bodies unleashed by frenetic techno, generations have passed through this legendary Montpellier club, which has always been a guarantor of the night's hustle and bustle, a witness to this eternal party. Laurent Vilarem, a photographer for as long as he can remember, got his first taste of the scene by wandering around all kinds of party venues and concert halls, inevitably ending up at Le Rockstore. An inexhaustible contemplative, capturing these moments of hedonism, he has made them his own through his intense, raw shots. Through his posed or stolen photos, this collection retraces those nights of exultation, abandon and aural lust.
